West Side eSports Update - Fortnite team qualifies for regional playoffs

• Fortnite Duos - The team of Stephen Paden, Levi Terrell and Bentley Wallace ("Unleashed") has qualified for the regional playoffs. The Arkansas Activities Association does not sanction Fortnite, but gamers are allowed to participate in a multi-state regional league. Unleashed will face off against Mountain Home in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday.

• Mario Kart - After a rough start to the season, the Mario Kart team of Ramon Hernandez, Tadeo Hernandez, Brooklynn Stephenson and Ian Harper wrapped up the fall season with a win on Friday. "The Teen Titans" downed a tough Sloan-Hendrix squad, 2-1.

• Super Smash Bros. - Both young Smash teams were in state playoff contention until the very last match, but came up just short. They did end their fall seasons with winning records.

• The improving WSHS eSports program is looking forward to an outstanding spring season. With the competitive phase of the fall season over, eSports will only meet on Thursdays for the remainder of the semester.

🎟 Season Pass Cost:
$40 per person — must be purchased in advance or on the night of November 24. To purchase a season pass in advance, please contact Coach Davis.

If purchasing at the gate, we kindly ask that you bring correct change or a check.
