Mrs. Cherie's 3rd-6th grade art students are finishing up their Mixed Media Arkansas Wildlife Silhouettes. They paint their watercolor background, draw the animal in silhouette form, then transfer the drawing to the watercolor and fill in with Sharpie and add stenciling. What complex, yet beautiful art projects!

6th graders tried their hand at Sumerian cuneiform. What are the benefits of a clay tablet? Easy to work with and easy to correct mistakes. Drawbacks? You wouldn't want to carry a backpack full of them! They have also enjoyed the fall weather in the outdoor classroom!
