The wins kept coming for West Side eSports on Wednesday, as the Eagles downed Tuckerman High School 3-1 in Super Smash Bros. The team of Stevi Oplinger, Tadeo Hernandez and Ian Harper was victorious for the second straight week. Also, for the second straight week, Hernandez won the final four games to put the opponent away. In the tradition of Eagle eSports legend Kolby Lockard, Hernandez has 10 straight games without a loss. West Side will next face County Line in Mario Kart action on Thursday.

Mrs. Stephanie’s Financial Planning students participated in an escape room activity prepared by Arch Ford CTE Instructional Facilitator - Micah Edwards.
Students were faced with multiple challenges that involved determining net pay, establishing a budget, preparing an emergency fund, and evaluating how financial decisions impact credit scores.
High School EAST students recently spoke to 6th graders about Halloween history and safety.

Mrs. Debbie's 5th graders are researching the differences between squid and octopuses and making arguments related to their novel, Island of the Blue Dolphins.
The home basketball games vs. Concord (JG, SG, SB), previously scheduled for Fri 11/8, have been rescheduled for Thu 11/7. Tipoff of the junior girls game is 5 pm.
