
Mrs. Cherie's Art classes have been busy this year! K-2 has learned about elements of landscape with layered landscapes. 3rd & 4th grade learned about analogous colors and printmaking with printed mountains; while 5th & 6th grade completed graphite zentangle animal drawings while learning about value and patterns.




West Side 6th graders recently visited White River Health System for a career awareness field trip. Students were able to visit the hospital's lab, radiology department, as well as the in-patient rehabilitation department. They were also able to speak with several healthcare workers including the dietitian.







West Side High School's Fall Festival with family fun for the whole family -- haunted house, food, silent auction, raffle prizes, and more! -- will be 5-8 p.m. Fri 10/13. Most of the proceeds go to the junior class with other classes and clubs also benefitting.


Students in Mrs. Orene’s classes had great lessons on KINDNESS that included quotes and caricatures.

5th & 6th grade has had some fun in Dojo Academy too! They have made wax paper lanterns and magnets with glass marbles and decorative paper.

West Side eSports moved to 2-0 on the young fall season with a come-from-behind 3-1 win over Batesville on Wednesday in Super Smash Bros. The WSHS Sword Slingers are, pictured left to right, Elijah Antonacci, Kolby Lockard and Cody Pressley.


Third & fourth graders got to make cards with alcohol inks and shaving cream at Dojo Academy recently!




A pet rabbit was found on Section Line Road this morning. The owner and pet need to be reunited! Please contact the school if this pet is yours ...


The annual flu vaccination clinic for students will be held Wed 10/11 @ school. County Health Unit nurses will administer the shots. Flu shot forms have now been given to all students; replacement forms are available at the office. Forms must be returned by Mon 10/9.


Third & fourth graders had a blast with echolocation, volcanoes, and fossils for Rock Your School Day!









Mrs. Teresa's K-2 Enrichment classes became paleontologists last week as they dug for dinosaurs and learned about extinct and endangered animals.







Congratulations to our recent students and teachers who were Caught Being Kind. Clare H helped another student stay calm by counting to 5! Lindzey B won a prize and gave it to another student. Sage S made thank you signs for the custodians and cafeteria workers. Miss. Jessie does a great job teaching us!
