An 8th grade Student Success Plan meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, May 20, in cafeteria. Guidance Counselor Terri K. Cornett has met with 8th graders about scheduling for next year, and Career Coach Pam Rousseau has worked with them to gauge career interest. Student Success Plans give students a chance to plan for their future, aligning high school classes and enrichment opportunities to career goals. The plans are a new state requirement and the plans will be expanded next year at WSHS to include all high school students. Monday’s meeting is important for both parents and students to attend.
