High School parents, just a reminder ...
Students who want to attend evening events may remain on campus after school for events ONLY when they are involved in the activity and a coach or sponsor has agreed to supervise them until the event begins. Otherwise, they must go home and return when the event begins. Unsupervised children will be sent home and may lose privileges to attend future events activities. If you have questions, please contact the HS Office, (501) 825-7241
Remember if your child sold cookie dough as part of the elementary fundraiser, the products may be picked up from the school until 4:45 today. We do not have a way to store the products so they have to be picked up before 4:45. Thanks Mr. Long

Parents Invited to High School Tutoring Open House
Parents are invited to bring their students to check out the new high school tutoring program, The Steamin' Eagle. You can meet the staff and enjoy a cup of coffee while learning more about this awesome opportunity for your student.
During Open House on Thursday, October 5, there will be two sessions:
Session 1: 7:30 - 8:00 am
Session 2: 5:30 - 6:00 pm
While meeting the staff, parents can enjoy a cup of coffee and learn more about this awesome opportunity for your student.
The Steamin’ Eagle is open from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Your student can study for a test, do homework, and get help on work they don't understand, while enjoying a cup a coffee or a bottle of water in a relaxed environment in our school library.

Fall Festival is Saturday
On Saturday, West Side High School's Junior Class will be hosting its annual Fall Festival. The Fall Festival will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brady-Hipp Arena.
The festival will have many notable events designed for toddlers and adults, such as the haunted house, a large variety of games, a huge raffle, and concessions.
Some of the many great prizes of the raffle are a Ruger .30-06, a Florida getaway, and much more!
Boys basketball shoes and hoodies need to be paid for by next week.

Girls Golf Finishes Runner-up at State Match
West Side’s girls golf team (from left Emily Akers, Kaylynn Finch, Haley Gentry, and Bristen Miller) finished runner-up in yesterday’s Class 1A State Golf Match at Texarkana, one week after winning the district golf title. Individually, Finch finished 4th and Haley Gentry 7th, giving qualifying both as All-State golfers.

If your student participated in the fundraiser, please pick up your order on Thursday October 5 between 3:30 and 4:45 in the cafeteria. We do not have storage capability so please make arrangement to pick your order up on October 5. Flyers are going home with the students today. Thanks!!
