The Be Pro Be Proud mobile bus was on our campus yesterday and all students in grades 7-12 were able to check it out and take part. This initiative provides students with hands-on experiences in various skilled trades, showcasing the high demand and wage potential in these careers. They had the opportunity to engage with simulators and game stations, learn about post-secondary pathways, and understand the value of skilled trades!
Baseball starts next week with two road games. The team's home opener is Monday 3/10 against Calico Rock. See the schedule @ https://bit.ly/41zhwBc. The softball team will play after the girls basketball concludes post-season play.

West Side FFA members competed at the ASU Beebe Ag Day Career Development contest. Kylie Sasaki placed 3rd place high individual for the Floriculture contest and our team placed 10t., Members:Kylie Sasaki, Madison Gomez and Abigail Gomez. The Milk Quality team: Alex Moorehead, Austin Ubelhor, Laiden Lindsey and Toby Ramsey placed 9th. Logan Fife competed in the Vet Science contest and Haygen Smith competed in Livestock Judging. Good Job Everybody!

Celebrating National FFA Week
The West Side FFA Club hosted the Cleburne County Cattleman's Association Meeting last night in the cafeteria.
Our students led a presentation along with FFA students from Concord, Heber Springs, and Quitman.
First Priority will be hosting Fields of Faith, a time of prayer and worship. This event is for all community members. We would love to see city ball teams and coaches attend! Breakfast is provided, and the event will take place at the school fields at 7:00AM.
Mrs. Sonjia's 2nd graders are "teaching" the class about syllabication.
