
To reach tomorrow’s District Tournament finals, the Senior Girls pushed a first-half lead to as high as 20 points, subduing Rural Special, 58-42. They play Norfork at 5 pm Saturday at Shirley.

With their wins tonight, West Side’s senior girls and boys advanced to Saturday’s district tournament finals at Shirley. The girls play @ 5 pm and the boys @ 6:15 pm.

Congratulations to West Side's senior girls, who qualified for the state Regional Basketball Tournament with a win over Concord last night at Shirley. They boys play Concord at 5:15 p.m. Friday and the girls Rural Special at 6:30 p.m. Friday in semifinals.

Congratulations to the Cleburne County 5-8 Spelling Bee Participants and Winners! Caleb Creasy from Concord was the overall winner and West Side's Lexi England was the runner-up! Other competitors were: Robby Whitaker, Kolton Long, Trinity McElroy, Haygen Smith, and Lainee Gentry from West Side and Evan Lee, Taylor White, and Peyton Miller from Concord.
